Lynne Rempel is a painter residing in the Durham region. Her still life paintings celebrate “the everyday”. Landscapes are influenced by travels and the beautiful, Canadian countryside.
Lynne paints from her own photos and purposely does not duplicate the image, leaving the viewer to fuel their own curious imagination.
Lynne is an active member of Federation of Canadian Artists. She is also involved with local art clubs and has attained recognition in Manitoba* and Ontario** and, more recently in the Gateway International Competition***

“My love for painting began at an early age and, now retired, I feel very fortunate to devote more time and energy to my lifelong passion. I love Impressionism and I continue to push myself to incorporate looser brush strokes. I paint mainly with oils, but occasionally experiment with other mediums.”
